Chuuu delivers in clutch as Work Auster stuns ONIC PH in MPL-PH

Daniel “Chuuu” Chu’s crucial lord steal helped Work Auster Force survive a grueling Game Two and give ONIC PH its first loss in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Season Seven regular season, Thursday evening.

Work Auster Force snatched the top spot in Group A after scoring six points through a 2-1 win-loss.

The Work-Onic Game Two match-up lasted for a total of 37 minutes — the longest match held this season.

With a complete ONIC PH squad taking down the lord, the three-man Work Auster Force led by Chuuu’s Lancelot was able to snatch away the lord from ONIC PH to prolong Work’s life.

A crucial defense from Patrick “rTzy” Ibarra’s Kagura prevented Gerald “Dlar” Trinchera’s Chou to finish the match. This also allowed Work Auster Force to secure another lord without contest entering the 36-minute mark and eventually, end the match.

RTzy won the Smart MVP plum with eight kills, six deaths, and seven assists.

Chuuu finished with three kills and four assists against six deaths while Clarence “Kousei” Camilo’s Chang’e added five kills, three deaths, and nine assists in Work’s 29-22 Game Two win.

Christian “Iy4knu” Manaog’s monster Lunox performance, who posted 12 kills and seven assists against five deaths, went down the drain as ONIC PH suffered its first loss of the season.

ONIC PH, who picked up the Natalia despite Work Auster Force’s early Rafaela selection in the draft, struggled mightily in Game One as Jay “Jay” Torculas’ could not find the opening he wanted after being heavily countered by Unravel.

Frediemar “3MarTzy” Serafico’s Chou nabbed the Smart MVP award with two kills and five assists against a death in Work’s 15-2, 11:01-minute Game One win.

ONIC PH slid at the second spot with a 2-1 standing for five points tied with Aura PH.
