Chris Banchero not with Alaska in game versus NorthPort

Chris Banchero was nowhere to be seen inside the SMART Araneta Coliseum in Alaska’s 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup match versus the NorthPort Batang Pier on Sunday afternoon.

This comes after the Aces traded the Fil-Italian guard to the Magnolia Hotshots for Rodney Brondial and Robbie Herndon on Friday. The league has yet to approve the proposed deal, however.

Many expected Banchero to suit up for Alaska one last time. His last appearance as an Ace happened last October 27 in a 101-91 win over Blackwater.

The Milkmen are currently 2-6 in the conference. They will try to boost their playoff chances against the Batang Pier, who are also looking to better their chances for the next round.
