The hiatus of Chot Reyes is finally over.
The former national team head coach will reassume his job as the TNT head coach after taking a four-month break.
After the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023, Reyes called for a break from coaching, citing the stress of being the Gilas Pilipinas head coach taking a toll on him.
He missed the 2023-24 PBA Commissioner’s Cup, with Jojo Lastimosa remaining as the head coach of the Tropang Giga.
Now, he is back.
TNT is coming off a quarterfinals finish in the recently-concluded conference.
Lastimosa, meanwhile, will be returning to his old role as team manager.
Lastimosa also received a contract extension by TNT.
Reyes, on the other hand, is still contracted with TNT until December 31.
