Sports patrons Mascariñas, Lhuiller, Uy nominated for top executive award

Three of the country’s most generous sports patrons have been nominated for the top Filipino Executive of the Year Award in the 2018 Asia CEO Awards.

Ronald Mascariñas of Bounty Agro Ventures Inc., Jean Henri Lhuiller of JP Lhuiller Group of Companies Inc., and Dennis Uy of Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc. lead the seven nominees for the prestigious event that is set to take place on Tuesday, October 16.

Besides making a huge mark in the business world, the three executives are also staunch supporters of Philippine Sports.

Lhuiller, the President and CEO of PJ Lhuillier Group of Companies, is the current chairman of the board for the Philippine Tennis Association. In addition, he is the team manager of the Philippine Men’s and Women’s Softball Teams.

Uy, the Chairman of Phoenix Petroleum, is currently the presidential adviser for sports. Besides having his own PBA club team, Uy also founded Siklab Pilipinas–- a foundation that focuses on sponsoring athletes who compete in under-funded individual sports.

Also nominated are Alexander Gamboa of AG&P, Alfredo Pascual of the University of the Philippines, Conrado Dieza of CDJ Group Construction, and Jeffrey Go of J&J Philippines.

The awards night will take place at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in 2 Resorts Drive, Pasay.
