On Tuesday, the House of Representatives approved on third and final reading the bill granting Philippine citizenship to Ginebra import Justin Brownlee.

“Been waiting for this for a while but worth the wait,” wrote the 33-year-old in the lengthy post as he thanked the Congress, the SBP, and the SMC top brass.
“Thankful, blessed, and honored,” he added.
The Senate also has similar bills filed recently on the American cager’s naturalization, both of which also have to pass the third reading.
All bills will have to be signed by the President to become a law.
