Brandon Rosser signs with Phoenix 3×3

Another Alab player is set to play in PBA 3×3.

Brandon Rosser has committed to play for Phoenix Super LPG for three conferences.

The development was first reported by Jonas Terrado of the Manila Bulletin and confirmed to Tiebreaker Times by team manager Paolo Bugia.

“He has agreed in principle and is now quarantining,” shared Bugia. “He just arrived earlier today.”

Rosser, a 6-foot-7 big man out of UC Riverside, had applied for the 2021 PBA Rookie Draft. However, he could not accomplish his Department of Justice recognition and Bureau of Immigration affirmation papers before the deadline set by the league.

Unlike his brother Matt of Terrafirma, Brandon was not born in Olongapo but in California.

Just like Jeremiah Gray (TNT) and Jason Brickman (Meralco), they can play in the PBA albeit in the 3×3 tournament because of the relaxed citizenship rules of FIBA 3×3.

Rosser played for Alab during the 2019-20 ABL season, averaging 4.9 points and 2.5 rebounds in 16 games played.
