Blackwater began its roster rebuild by trading away Simon Enciso.
The Bossing have swapped Enciso for another guard in Terrafirma’s Rashawn McCarthy.
The league has approved the trade on Tuesday.
Blackwater acquired Enciso last March after a three-team deal with TNT and NLEX.
The 5-foot-11 floor general was the 17th overall pick in the 2015 PBA Rookie Draft. He averaged 13.7 points, 4.1 assists, and 2.8 rebounds per game last conference that saw Blackwater go 0-11.
On the other hand, the 6-foot McCarthy – who has been with the Kia franchise since 2017 – normed 9.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.0 assists last conference.
This will be a reunion between McCarthy and newly-installed Blackwater head coach Ariel Vanguardia as the former was his guard during their time in Westsports Malaysia Dragons.
Terrafirma barely missed out on a playoff spot with a 4-7 record.
