BennyQT makes sure Aura survives upset-seeking Cignal in MPL-PH

Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales pulled out all the stops needed as Aura PH survived a tight Game Two against Cignal Ultra to win the series, 2-0, in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Seven regular season, Thursday.

Bennyqt, who won MVP honors in Game Two with his Lapu Lapu with four kills, two deaths, and eight assists, led Aura PH to the top of Group A with 14 points through a 5-1 record.MPL-PH-Season-7-AURA-def-Cignal-Game-2 BennyQT makes sure Aura survives upset-seeking Cignal in MPL-PH ESports Mobile Legends MPL-PH News - philippine sports news

Cignal rookie Jefferdson “Kekedot” Mogol played his best game so far, initiating early pick-offs with his Chou to give his squad the early advantage in Game Two.

The Season Two champion was able to secure the first lord and take down all but two of Aura PH’s turrets.

But all that came to an end as Bennyqt spearheaded a crucial clash which resulted in a Maniac for Ashley “Killuash” Cruz’s Benedetta in the 15:30-mark which completely turned the tables around for Aura PH.

Kekedot, who was having the time of his life in Game Two, forced an initiation on Allen “Greed_” Baloy’s Selena but was baited with the Winter Truncheon and was eventually taken down by the latter.

That pretty much sealed the deal for Aura PH as they took the lord without any contest from the Cignal side.

Game Two lasted for 32 minutes and 12 seconds — the second-longest for the season.

Mark “Lord Hadess” Lazaro’s early rotation proved to be the key for Aura PH’s Game One domination of Cignal Ultra.

Lord Hadess, after clearing the first wave of minions in the middle lane, went straight to Cignal’s jungle camp to snatch the Rockursa and Crammer from Arvie “Aquaboy” Calderon (Roger).

That move, along with the advantages brought by Bennyqt’s Lunox and Greed’s Yve against Cignal’s sustain composition, made a huge gap between the levels favoring Aura PH.

Bennyqt was named the Smart MVP with four kills, two deaths, and two assists in the 8-3 victory that lasted for 11 minutes and 14 seconds.MPL-PH-Season-7-AURA-def-Cignal-Game-1 BennyQT makes sure Aura survives upset-seeking Cignal in MPL-PH ESports Mobile Legends MPL-PH News - philippine sports news

Cignal Ultra remained winless in the same group as they fell to a 0-5 standing at the fifth spot with only two points.

Aura PH will next face Group A rival Work Auster Force on Sunday at 3:00 pm, while Cignal Ultra looks to bounce back tomorrow against ONIC PH also at 3:00 pm.
