BennyQT grateful to ECHO for allowing him to take leave after birth of Wanwan

Despite being away from his team the past few days, Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales still delivered in ECHO’s nail-biting 2-1 victory over the gutsy Omega Esports in the MPL Philippines Season 11 on Friday night.

Bennyqt scored seven kills and five assists against two deaths on Karrie in ECHO’s tight 19-17 Game One win before finishing with five kills and two assists without a single death in the series-clinching Game Three win.

The 21-year-old gold laner had to practice online in the past few days due to the birth of his daughter, who he named after one of his best heroes Wanwan.

Bennyqt expressed his utmost gratitude to his teammates and the entire ECHO management for understanding his situation and allowing him to spend time with his newborn.

The win allowed ECHO to retake the top spot with a perfect 6-0 card in the MPL Philippines standings.

ECHO will next take on RSG PH on Sunday at 4:00 PM.
