The Adamson University Lady Falcons renewed their defense of the women’s beach volleyball crown after trampling the University of the Philippines in two sets, 21-9 and 21-14.

The duo of Amanda Villanueva and Len Cortel took down the duo of Arylle Magtalas and Hannah Mangulabnan, who struggled to find a way to counter Adamson’s sneaky counter-attacks. Despite coming into the second set reignited, it was the defending champions who would walk away with the victory.

Standings:
ADU: 4 – 2
UP: 2 – 4

Aggregate score:  AdU- 42, UP-23
