For the past 23 days, ambassadors and staff of all brands under the Bountry Agro Ventures Inc. (BAVI) umbrella went around the country to give back to 23 sectors that have served as frontliners in the country’s ongoing battle against the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
For the 23rd anniversary of BAVI, the company behind Chooks-to-Go, Uling Roasters, and Adobo Connection, gave back to the everyday heroes that have made the ultimate sacrifice for flag and country over the past few months.
“We are deeply grateful to everyone who had been part of our company’s journey and the country’s fight against the pandemic,” said BAVI President Ronald Mascariñas.
“It is my hope that through this simple gesture of thanksgiving to them, we can inspire more people to be heroic in their daily lives as well.”
Through the month of September, BAVI gave 23,000-kilos of chicken to medical facilities, schools, orphanages, public transport groups, barangay halls, military camps, city halls, zoos, and other beneficiaries in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
This is on top of the 400,000 meal equivalents that it has distributed to various groups for the past six months.
Helping in the thanksgiving efforts were sports personalities like Kiefer Ravena, Kobe Paras, and Nikko Huelgas, to go along with sports commentators Mark Zambrano, Mara Aquino, and Chiqui Reyes.
For Mascariñas, this is the company’s way of saying thank you to the frontliners for helping make BAVI Astonishingly Healthy at 23.
