Kiefer Ravena and Shiga completed their sweep of Osaka, taking an 88-78 win in the 2021-22 B.League season, Sunday at Ukaru-chan Arena.
Ravena got 14 points on 4-of-8 shooting in the game with nine assists and two steals with no turnovers.
And the ex-NLEX Road Warrior took charge in the final frame.
Down 68-66 with 7:24 remaining, Teppei Kashiwagura and Novar Gadson sparked a 10-0 spurt with Ravena scoring the last five points of the rally.
Though the trio of Ira Brown, David Doblas, and Kyle Hunt tried to rally Osaka back — cutting the Lakestars lead down to four with 2:51 left, Ravena and Gadson had all the answers late as Shiga completed its sweep.
The Lakestars went up to 12-34 while dropping Osaka to 20-26.
Gadson led the way for Shiga with 29 points and nine rebounds while Kashiwagura added 18 points on three treys. Sean O’ Mara also grabbed 12 rebounds to go with his eight points.
Hunt paced Osaka with 20 points on 10-of-15 shooting with eight rebounds. Doblas and Brown both notched double-doubles as well with the former producing 16 points and 10 rebounds while the latter dropping 15 points and 14 rebounds.
Makoto Kinoshita also got 13 points for the Evessa.
Ravena and Shiga will head to Hokkai Kitayeru next weekend to face Levanga Hokkaido.
