Arwind Santos continues to make history at 41.
The former PBA MVP reached 10,000 career points during NorthPort’s Philippine Cup match with, ironically, ex-team San Miguel on Saturday.
He achieved the feat through a fadeaway baseline jumper over his good pal June Mar Fajardo just 41 seconds into the third quarter (11:19).
Santos now has 10,001 points as of this posting.
Owner of nine PBA championships, the Kapampangan star is now the 17th member of the elite club and the 16th local player.
He is just the third in the last 21 years to reach 10K, next to fellow MVPs and sure-fire Hall of Famers James Yap (2017) and Mark Caguioa (2018).
This marks yet another remarkable accomplishment for the 16-year veteran, who recently became the oldest Defensive of the Player awardee.
