Another Filipino Mobile Legends: Bang Bang head coach is heading overseas.
Multiple sources closely monitoring the situation have confirmed to Tiebreaker Times that ECHO head coach Michael “Arcadia” Bocado is set to sign with a powerhouse organization abroad.
The team Arcadia will be coaching, however, was not disclosed.
Arcadia’s release was announced by ECHO, Monday afternoon.
The 30-year-old former Arena of Valor player kick-started his ML:BB coaching career back in Season Five when he steered Sunsparks to its second consecutive title.
He was then retained by Aura PH in Seasons Six and Seven before spending the next two seasons with ECHO.
In Season Nine, Arcadia handled a star-studded roster composed of Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno, Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera, Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales, Frediemar “3MarTzy” Serafico, and Jankurt “KurtTzy” Matira.
The team showed a lot of promise in the early stages of the regular season but fell off entirely in the latter part. Then, in the playoffs, ECHO suffered a shocking 0-3 sweep at the hands of Omega Esports to end its season at the 5th-6th place.
Arcadia is set to become the fourth Filipino head coach overseas after Francis “Duckey” Glindro (REVO), John “Zico” Dizon (Burn X Flash), and Denver “Yeb” Miranda (ONIC Esports).
