Aqua, Demonkite asked for a break, says RSG PH

Jhonard “Demonkite” Caranto and Arvie “Aqua” Calderon will not see action for RSG Slate PH in the MPL Philippines Season 11.

Team manager Lexie Yambao told reporters during the Season 11 media day that both players asked the organization for a one-season break. Yambao also said that their status will be re-evaluated once the season ends.

“As of now po naka bench status sila,” said Yambao. “They requested to rest for one season so after one season we will again check kung gusto na nilang mag-laro ulit.”

Demonkite and Aqua played pivotal roles in RSG PH’s rise in the MPL Philippines, helping the team clinch the Season Nine title where they took down Omega Esports in six games to open the 2022 season with a bang.

RSG PH sustained their momentum come the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup and put on a dominant performance that saw them lift the crown and bag their first-ever international title.
