Alyssa Valdez revealed as PBB contestant

One of the country’s most decorated volleyball players will be entering the Big Brother House.

Alyssa Valdez was revealed as one of the celebrity contestants for Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity Season 10.

Valdez, 28, is a six-time V-League Most Valuable Player and has represented the country numerous times.

This won’t affect Valdez’s volleyball career as the Premier Volleyball League will begin its 2022 season on February. The decorated spiker was also not invited by the Philippine National Volleyball Federation to the national team pool despite being the runner-up in the Open Conference Most Valuable Player race.

“To all my supporters, maraming salamat po at sana patuloy niyo akong suportahan sa PBB,” said Valdez.

“Ibang court naman ang pupuntahan natin, sana magkakasama pa rin tayo.”

Unlike past seasons, there will be three “Kumunities” in the house for this season.

Of course the first is the celebrity edition which will have Valdez.

There will also be an adult and teen edition.
