Alohi Robins-Hardy’s return hinges on Farm Fresh: ‘That’s where my heart is’

Alohi Robins-Hardy was notably absent during the 2025 Premier Volleyball League Rookie Draft Combine held last Friday and Saturday at the Paco Arena in Manila.

The 6-foot-1 Fil-American setter, who arrived from Hawai’i last Sunday, clarified that her absence was due to urgent personal matters in the United States, including the completion of necessary documents as she prepares to live full-time in the Philippines.

Despite not participating in the two-day event, the 29-year-old playmaker remains one of the most anticipated names heading into the draft day festivities scheduled this Sunday at Novotel Manila Araneta City.

Farm Fresh holds the third overall pick — a spot many believe is reserved for Robins-Hardy, who reaffirmed her unwavering commitment to the Foxies.

“When I arrived last year, I made a promise to Tito Frank [Lao] and to Farm Fresh — that’s the only team I will play for,” Robins-Hardy declared.

“I signed a five-year contract with them because I believe in what they’re building.”

Despite not getting to play last year, Robins-Hardy served as an assistant coach for both Farm Fresh and the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons.

Robins-Hardy made it known that if her name isn’t called by Farm Fresh on Sunday, she is prepared to walk away from Philippine volleyball.

“If another team drafts me, I’ll return to the U.S. and continue my career overseas,” she said.

“I’m not just here to play anywhere. I came back for Farm Fresh. That’s where my heart is.”
