Almazan, Racal, Quinto, Calvo, Faundo add PBA jerseys to Letran auction

To close out Colegio de San Juan de Letran’s fundraising auction for the coronavirus (COVID-19) frontliners, five decorated Knights added their jerseys in the PBA to the mix.

Raymond Almazan, Kevin Racal, Bong Quinto, JP Calvo, and Bryan Faundo all made their kits up for grabs in the bidding that began Saturday evening and will end on Monday at 11:00 pm.

Teammates in the pro league, NCAA Season 89 MVP and two-time Defensive Player of the Year Almazan, Season 83 Most Improved Player Bryan Faundo, and Season 94 Mythical Team member Bong Quinto sent over their Meralco Bolts jersey. The first two sent their dark jerseys, while the latter donated his white ones.

For his part, Racal — who was part of the Season 91 championship team — gave his light Alaska Aces jersey.

To complete the quintet, Calvo, also part of the Season 91 squad, donated his dark Columbian Dyip kit.

The auction is happening over at Colegio de San Juan de Letran’s Facebook page. All bids begin at PHP 1,000.

Also giving to the cause were RJ Jazul, Kevin Alas, Jerrick Balanza, Bonbon Batiller, Fran Yu, and Larry Muyang.
