Alex Cabagnot makes PBA comeback with Converge

After 10 months, Alex Cabagnot finds himself back in the PBA.

The nine-time PBA champion guard has signed with Converge for the 49th season of the league.

The FiberXers made the announcement on Monday with team manager Jacob Lao and alternate team governor CK Kanapi-Daniolco in attendance during the signing.

Cabagnot previously played in the PBA for Terrafirma but was not renewed by the team last October.

He then played for KBL team Goyang Sono, MPBL club Bacolod, and The Asian Tournament squad Taiwan.

At age 41, Cabagnot will bring leadership to a young Converge team, much like what Danny Ildefonso did for the FiberXers during Season 47.

He will be tasked to mentor the likes of BJ Andrade and JL Delos Santos, two sophomores seen as the future floor generals of Converge.
