AJ Edu makes Dean’s List in University of Toledo


Still recovering from an injury, AJ Edu made the most of it inside the classroom.

Gilas Pilipinas Youth standout Edu made it to the Dean’s List of University of Toledo in Ohio.

The sophomore is currently taking up a degree in Accounting.

“In the midst of the chaos of this pandemic, it is wonderful to get news that brings a breath of fresh air. I’m so happy and proud that my son has again made the Dean’s List,” the post read.

“Well done, AJ!”

The 6-foot-10 Fil-Nigerian is currently recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament tear he suffered during the first game of the 2019 FIBA Under-19 World Cup.

Edu, together with 7-foot-2 Kai Sotto, is seen as a pillar of Gilas Pilipinas for the 2023 FIBA World Cup here in the country.
