After being released by TNC in the off-season, Adrian “Toshi” Bacallo announced that he will be taking a break this upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League, Sunday.
Toshi is the fourth MPL veteran to announce a break after CJ “Ribo” Ribo of Bren Esports and Blacklist International’s Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna and Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario.
“Adrian G. Bacallo a.k.a. Toshi will rest and will not participate this upcoming MPL-PH Season 9.
“Thank you to the ones who believed, who supported him throughout his career,” posted Toshi on his official Facebook page.
“Also would like to thank the teams and teammates who have given Toshi an opportunity to showcase his skills in the competitive scene,” the statement added.
TNC let go of the pride of Tarlac following a disappointing Season Nine campaign that saw the team finish the season dead-last with a lowly 4-10 standing.
Also axed from the team are Dylan “Light” Catipon, Clarense “Kousei” Camilo, Frediemar “3MarTzy” Serafico, Patrick “P-GOD” Ibarra, Douglas “ImbaDeejay” Astibe, Landher “Der” San Gabriel, and coach Laurence “Lift” Ruiz
