De La Salle University punched its ticket to the CONQuest Festival after completing a 2-1 reverse sweep of Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology in the upper bracket finals of the Valorant Alliance Games by AcadArena, Sunday.
Just like in the first two games of the series, it was an all-out brawl for the Viridis Arcus and the Excalibur in the series-clinching Game Three at Haven.

With no more room for error, MSU-IIT sparked a fiery 6-0 round highlighted by shadow’s one-against-three clutch on Chamber in the 20th round which ended in an Ace before xavi8k put an end to the run and clinched the win for the Viridis Arcus.
VA vintage led the way for De La Salle University with 22 kills and 10 assists. BRN xavi8k also had 20 markers and 10 dimes, including a three-kill in the series-clinching round.
For Mindanao State University, jessieNASH and s0nshine both had 19 kills, while shadow finished with 18 and a number of highlight-reels.
Meanwhile, in the lower bracket, Malayan Esports swept University of San Carlos, 2-0, while Ateneo de Manila University claimed a 2-1 win against Holy Angel University.
The Warlocks and LG Esports will face each other in the losers’ semifinals. The winner will take on MSU-IIT in the lower bracket finale.
