After four frustrating defeats, the Cocolife Asset Managers barged into the win column with a five-set comeback against Sta. Lucia, 21-25, 23-25, 25-18, 25-10, 15-8, in the 2018 Chooks to Go-Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference at the Caloocan Sports Center.
Fil-American open hitter Kalei Mau toped the Asset Managers with a conference-high 25 points. Denice Tan added 12. The Asset Managers dominated Sta. Lucia with a 12-4 gap in aces.
Jhoana Maraguinot and Roselle Baliton each managed 12 points for Sta. Lucia.
Cocolife claimed their first win in five matches. They face the Foton Blue Energy (4-1) on Tuesday at the FilOil Flying V Centre. The Lady Realtors (0-6) finish the first round against the Petron Blaze Spikers (5-0), also on Tuesday.
