Interesting comment: “#UAAP76 (7+6 = 13) #UAAP77 (7+7 = 14)” So ‘The Boss’ believes in numerology?

The Wire Says:
The Strong Get Stronger
The Bandwagon Wire is sad to see Oda Tampos left out of the line-up this year (we at Tiebreaker Times are huge fans of his defense). Nonetheless, this year’s Green Archer line-up might be the tallest team ever assembled in Philippine collegiate basketball history. Moreover, they upgraded their wings with the additions of prized recruit and Philippine U-17 3-on-3 National Team member Prince Rivero and Kirk Long-like Julian Sargent.
The Great Wall
Their depth at the center position is terrifying. AVO-ANDRADA!-Tratter. We remember this one game at the Premiere Cup when Abu Tratter almost blew the head off his defender with a dunk attempt that unfortunately ended with the ball bouncing off the rim. And we haven’t even gotten to Jeron Teng, Almond Vosotres and Jason “Lefty Patrimonio” Perkins. Man, this team’s scary!
Abundance of Generals
Finding an excellent point guard is a tough job, and finding two is a gift but having three in a line-up? Tsk. When it comes to defense, Thomas Torres is probably the best of the bunch. Kib Montalbo showed the world why he was one of the most valued recruits from the Class of ’13 during the Premiere Cup. But what’s scary is they also have Terrence Mustre! Let’s take a moment to look at his mix-tape to see how good that kid is:
The Blueprint
The blueprint for dethroning the champs may have been revealed during the Premiere Cup last summer when they lost to the Jose Rizal University Heavy Bombers and the University of Perpetual Help Delta System Atlas. And what was the common denominator between those two teams? They ran hard and shot a lot of threes. (Maybe the UP Fighting Maroons can upset them with their run-and-gun line-up)
Parting Shot
As of this moment, the De La Salle Green Archers Men’s Basketball Team is still the undisputed best collegiate team in the country today. And who knows, Jeron Teng might finally bag his first UAAP Regular Season Most Valuable Player Trophy this year.
