The reload of the Zamboanga Family’s Brand Sardines continues.
After receiving the trio of Alvin Pasaol, Santi Santillan, and Anton Asistio last week, Zamboanga are set to get another UAAP standout in Aaron Black.
In a trade with the Quezon City Capitals — which has already been approved by MPBL Commissioner Kenneth Duremdes — Zamboanga sent Ryan Costelo and Christian Fajarito in the exchange.
Black, a product of Ateneo, posted norms of 11.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 5.4 assists in 14 games played for Quezon City.
On the other hand, former San Sebastian Stag Costelo had averages of 8.1 points per game. Meanwhile, Fajarito, who is on leave in Letran, only played in seven games, averaging 7.4 points and 7.4 rebounds.
Zamboanga currently sit in eighth place in the Southern Division of the 2019-20 MPBL Lakan Cup with a 9-8 slate. Quezon City, on the other hand, stand in 10th place in the North with a 6-10 record.
