Ysay Marasigan crowned Spikers’ Turf MVP


Cignal team captain Ysay Marasigan won his first Most Valuable Player award after leading the Cignal HD Spikers’ double gold campaign in the 2019 Spikers’ Turf Reinforced Conference.

Meanwhile, two-time Spikers’ Turf MVP and Air Force ace Ran Abdilla was hailed as the First Best Open Spiker while Marck Espejo, who was named as the Finals MVP of the championship series, clinched the Second Best Open Spiker award.

Air Force’s Francis Saura and Cignal’s Anjo Pertierra were handed the First and Second Best Middle Blocker trophies — their first in the league.

Ricky Marcos of Sta. Elena-NU grabbed the Best libero award while teammate Joshua Retamar got the Best Setter award to complete the All-Spikers’ Turf Open Conference team.
