Ximone Sandagon is all set for the PBA after officially joining Blackwater.
Fresh off a runner-up finish with Quezon in the recent MPBL season, the 6-foot-4 forward has signed a one-year rookie max deal with the Bossing.
He was accompanied by his agent, Edgar Mangahas, during Monday’s signing in San Juan, which was presided over by team manager Johnson Martinez.
Sandagon was the 15th overall pick in the Season 50 draft by the franchise but first honored his contract with the Huskers in the regional league.
After completing his final collegiate season at Far Eastern University in UAAP Season 85, he spent the last three years with Quezon, also winning a PSL title with the province’s other team, the Titans.
The 26-year-old native of Cabusao, Camarines Sur, is coming off a solid MPBL stint with the Huskers, where he averaged 6.2 points and 4.2 rebounds in 19 minutes per game during the 2025 season.
Now, Sandagon is expected to provide additional size and depth to a Blackwater frontcourt led by Christian David, Richard Escoto, and Abu Tratter.
Sandagon is slated to make his PBA debut in the Season 50 Commissioner’s Cup this February.
