Wolf’s TNC debut, Blacklist-Aurora clash highlight MPL PH 14 opening day

The much-anticipated MPL Philippines Season 14 is officially on the horizon, with the action set to commence on August 16 at Green Sun in Makati.

The new season of the country’s premier esports league will feature an intense eight-week competition, promising thrilling matchups and high drama.

The opening day of the regular season will spotlight Caisam “Wolf” Nopueto’s debut as head coach for TNC Pro Team.

Wolf’s squad will go head-to-head with Smart Omega Esports at 5:00 PM.

The excitement continues with a star-studded clash as the newly formed Aurora takes on the revamped Blacklist International at 7:30 PM.

In a season full of reunions, fans will witness the return of familiar faces as Renejay “Renejay” Barcarse, Edward “Edward” Dapadap, Kenneth “Yue” Tadeo, Salic “Hadji” Imam, and Kiel “OHEB” Soriano face off against each other on the same stage.

After three seasons together since Season 11, these players will now be competing on opposing sides, each with new goals.

Season 14 also welcomes back ex-overseas imports, including Gerald “Dlar” Trinchera, Michael “MP the King” Endino, Borris “Brusko” Parro, John “1rrad” Tuazon, and Shemaiah “SDzyz” Chu.

These talented players will once again display their skills on home soil, adding to the season’s excitement.

With a massive prize pool of $150,000, MPL Philippines Season 14 promises high stakes and intense competition.

The season champions will walk away with a grand prize of $35,000, further fueling the drive for victory.
