After a routine outing against Chinese-Taipei White yesterday, the Chooks-to-Go-powered Ateneo Pilipinas woke up early Monday morning. The defending UAAP Men’s Basketball Champions immediately headed to the Xinzhuang Gym for a run through of their plays that they will implement against the 33rd-ranked team in the world South Korea.

“I think there isn’t really any extra preparations for tomorrow. The coaches are now working to prepare a game plan for tomorrow. Players who played a while ago are just trying to get the hydration and recovery in to help us for the game tomorrow,” Isaac Go, who had 10 points and seven rebounds against Chinese-Taipei White, told Tiebreaker Times yesterday.
The last time a Philippine team faced South Korea was during the 2017 FIBA Asia Cup quarterfinals. The South Koreans won 118-86 to eliminate the Gilas Elite from contention.
