UAAP postpones all scheduled games on Oct 23 due to Tropical Storm Kristine

In light of the impending severe weather, the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) has announced the postponement of all scheduled games for Wednesday, October 23.

This decision follows the class suspensions declared by Manila City, Quezon City, and Pasay City due to Tropical Storm Kristine.

Among the postponed events are the Collegiate Men’s Basketball Games, featuring Adamson University against Ateneo de Manila University and University of the Philippines against University of the East.

Also affected are the Junior High School Boys’ Basketball matches, which would have pitted Far Eastern University-Diliman against Ateneo de Manila University and De La Salle-Zobel against Adamson University.

The High School Boys’ Volleyball match-ups for the canceled gameday are University of Santo Tomas versus Adamson, National University Nazareth School versus UE, FEU-D versus University of the Philippines Integrated School, and De La Salle Zobel versus Ateneo.

The basketball contests were scheduled to take place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, while the volleyball matches were set for Paco Arena in Manila.

The league will provide updates regarding the rescheduling of the postponed games at a later date.
