UAAP ML Tournament heats up as playoff spots hang in the balance


The 2024 UAAP Esports Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Tournament action resumes on Tuesday, with four playoff spots up for grabs at the Hyundai Hall, Arete Ateneo in Quezon City.

Far Eastern University will face National University at 11 a.m., with the winner advancing to the semifinals.

University of the East will then battle Adamson University at 1 p.m., followed by a clash between the University of Santo Tomas and the University of the Philippines at 3 p.m.

Closing out the day will be the highly anticipated Ateneo de Manila University versus De La Salle University match-up at 5 p.m.

These matches will be broadcast on One Sports’ YouTube channel, Pilipinas Live, The Varsity Channel, and One Sports.

Meanwhile, the postponed match between La Salle and FEU will be played off-stream tomorrow at 11 a.m., with UP and UE also playing off-stream at 5 p.m.

The UAAP has also announced that the losers in the semifinals will automatically be awarded bronze medals, and the third-place game, originally scheduled for Wednesday, August 21, has been canceled.
