Tots Carlos hailed PVL 2nd AFC Finals MVP


Though left out of the All-Premier Team, Tots Carlos still took home the most valuable hardware.

Tots Carlos emerged as the Finals MVP after steering Creamline to its seventh title at the expense of Choco Mucho in the Premier Volleyball League Second All-Filipino Conference, Saturday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

“Maraming salamat po sa lahat ng sumuporta sa amin. Sobrang saya namin sa championship na ito dahil madaming pinagdaanan yung team,” said the product of University of the Philippines.

“Mukang madali pero grabe yung pinagdaanan ng team. Kung puwede ko lang bigay ‘to sa teammates ko, ibibigay ko po.”

The 25-year-old outside spiker from Lubao, Pampanga averaged 21 points per game in the two-game series against the Flying Titans.

Carlos dropped 16 points on 16 attacks in the Cool Smashers’ 25-23, 19-25, 26-24, 25-22 Game 1 victory last Thursday. Then she unloaded 26 big points on 26 attacks in their epic five-set, 22-25, 25-20, 29-27, 24-26, 15-12 Game 2 triumph.
