Tiongson makes it rain as Blustar keeps Topstar listless

The Blustar Detergent Dragons were able to stop the Topstar ZC-Mindanao Aguilas from getting their first victory, nabbing a close 98-93 win, Tuesday evening at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig Cit.

Juami Tiongson captained the Dragons in their second win with 32 points after nailing six three-pointers. Kuek Tian Yuan added 21 markers, while Wong Yi Hou got 14 points.

“There are many things to learn for our players,” said Blustar coach Chang Huat Goh. “At least we got two wins in this league. We have our final game against Phoenix, we’ll definitely try our best.”
