Thirdy Ravena plays on after bad crash vs Lebanon

Gilas Pilipinas Men breathed a sigh of relief as Thirdy Ravena did not suffer any major injuries after a bad fall against Lebanon on Wednesday evening at Istora Senayan in Jakarta, Indonesia.

With 1:15 left in the second quarter, Ravena challenged Wael Arakji attempt. However, Ravena fell parallel to the floor.

The San-En guard suffered a gash above his right eye and had to be wheelchaired out of the game.

Still, Ravena was part of the team’s warm-ups for the second half and has affirmed that he will play on.

Ravena tallied seven points, four rebounds, and two assists in the first half.

Gilas are down 46-39 at the half.
