Terrence Romeo won’t be able to finish San Miguel’s 2020 PBA Philippine Cup match versus long-time rival TNT, Friday night.
The former three-time scoring champion hurt his right shoulder at the 4:47-mark of the second quarter after colliding with Tropang Giga vet Ryan Reyes.
Romeo immediately headed to the bench. He did not return, spoiling what has been a good outing for him.
The 5-foot-10 guard left the match with 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting along with a rebound and an assist in 13 minutes and 53 seconds.
A dislocated shoulder is the initial finding on Romeo’s injury, and he has been brought to The Medical City in Clark.
His absence is a huge blow to the Beermen, who are still looking for their first win inside the bubble.
The defending five-time Philippine Cup champions are coming off an 83-87 defeat in the hands of Rain or Shine last Tuesday.
