All of the 2019 PBA Gilas draftees are now set to make their pro debuts this week.
Terrafirma has signed top overall pick Isaac Go to a two-year deal two days before its PBA Governors’ Cup campaign resumes on Saturday.
Besides the length of the contract, no other detail about it was revealed by neither Go’s camp nor Terrafirma.
With Go during the signing held at Azure Urban Resort and Residences in Bicutan, Parañaque were agent PJ Pilares of Titan Management Group, team governor Bobby Rosales, head coach Johnedel Cardel, and team manager Ronald Tubid.
“Good news talaga kasi two years ang pinirmahan ni Isaac,” said Cardel.
Go will only have one day to prepare before making his league debut on Saturday against Blackwater.
The 6-foot-8 Ateneo product played eight games for Gilas over the past two years.
He averaged 6.5 points, 2.5 assists, and 2.0 rebounds in the Asia Cup Qualifiers and normed 2.5 points and 1.5 rebounds in the Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
Go is a timely boost for the Dyip, having lost Roosevelt Adams to free agency. He shores up a frontline that already has Joseph Gabayni, Kyle Pascual, Christian Balagasay, Aldrech Ramos, and Eric Camson.
Go’s batchmates have also signed deals with their respective teams. Former Ateneo teammates Matt and Mike Nieto are all set to play for NLEX and Rain or Shine, respectively.
Rey Suerte inked a deal with Blackwater while Allyn Bulanadi has also signed with Alaska.
