Talk ‘N Text lands Rosario in three-way deal with NLEX, Mahindra

The Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters landed 2015 second overall pick Troy Rosario in a three-team, five-player deal involving the NLEX Road Warriors and Mahindra Enforcers Tuesday.

Days after letting go of Jay Washingon in a trade with Globalport, Talk ‘N Text bolstered its frontline with the addition of former National University Bulldog and Gilas Pilipinas member Rosario.

The Enforcers receive Rob Reyes, Aldrech Ramos, and KG Canaleta in the deal to add three-point shooting to its fold, while guard Kevin Alas ends up with the Road Warriors.

Alas reunites with teammate Garvo Lanete and head coach Boyet Fernandez in the Road Warriors’ fold.

NLEX gets another upgrade in its backcourt rotation with the addition of Alas, who spent his first year with the Texters.

The arrival of Reyes to the Mahindra camp gives the Enforcers an additional big to join Kyle Pascual and Bradwyn Guinto, while Ramos and Canaleta brings space although the Enforcers need to figure out the right rotation as they have a ton of wing players in their fold.

Rosario is expected to split minutes and learn under the tutelage of Ranidel de Ocampo, or sometimes play the small forward position in a supersized unit on the floor.
