Tai Bundit has high expectations for Criss Cross in its maiden foray in the upcoming 2024 Spikers’ Turf season.
Bundit, who will make his coaching return to the Philippines after three years, will call the shots for the star-studded King Crunchers in the Spikers’ Turf this March.
“In my dream, champion,” said the Thai head coach during Criss Cross’ press conference held at the Joy Nostalg Center in Pasig City last Friday.
The UAAP champion coach vowed to bring out the best in his players, just like what he did with his former teams Ateneo and the Cool Smashers, and help them become better versions of themselves.
“My players [are] very good, they concentrate in the training and I will support them to be better players. I have experience, I will do better in the men’s team in Rebisco,” said Bundit.
Leading the Spikers’ Turf newcomers are Marck Espejo, Ysay Marasigan, Kim Malabunga, and Ish Polvorosa.
Rex Intal, Chu Njigha, Manuel Sumanguid, Geuel Asia, Juvie Mangaring, Vince Mangulabnan, and Gian Glorioso are also part of the team.
Then rounding the team out are beach volleyball standouts Jude Garcia, Krung Arbasto, Philip Bagalay, and Jaron Requinton.
Bundit also expressed his gratitude to Rebisco owner Jonathan Ng and promised to repay his trust by leading his squad to a championship.
“Now I feel happy because my boss [is] really kind to me. Boss Jonathan is really kind to me.”
