Second seed Taguig forced a rubber match after putting up a defensive masterclass over third-ranked Glutagence, 63-32, in Game Two of the Pia Cayetano WNBL best-of-three semifinals at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center in San Fernando, Pampanga on Sunday.
The Lady Generals limited the Glow Boosters to a season-low 32 points on a measly 11-of-66 shooting from the field, a poor 16 percent. That’s a 19-point difference from their previous low at 51 in their second round clash with Taguig in the elimination round.
