Tab Baldwin, Thirdy Ravena to judge your moves in SMART’s ‘Pakitang Gilas’ contest

Gilas Pilipinas program director Tab Baldwin and cadet Thirdy Ravena are two of the four judges for SMART Sports’ “Pakitang Gilas” online competition.

Since the enhanced community quarantine, SMART Sports has been promoting the importance of health and wellness by doing at-home workouts.

SMART has then partnered with upstart Pinoy Liga to organize the “Pakitang Gilas” Home Edition Challenge wherein contestants send their home workout or solo basketball training videos for a chance to win an iPhone X.

“With the Pakitang Gilas Challenge, we want to promote staying at home while staying in shape during the ECQ in a fun way,” said SMART Sports head Epok Quimpo.

Joining Baldwin and Ravena as judges for the videos are NLEX sniper Larry Fonacier and NCAA Season 95 Most Valuable Player Calvin Oftana of San Beda.

To join the competition, which also has SMART prepaid kits and official Gilas Pilipinas shirts as prizes, here are the mechanics:

1.) Upload a 30-second to a full minute video of your exercise or basketball moves to your Facebook and/or Instagram accounts. Don’t forget to make your posts public.

2.) In your caption, use the hashtags #PakitangGilasAtHome and #StaySmart and tag both @PinoyLiga and @SMARTSports.

The contest will run until May 15.
