Leading 49-42 heading into the third canto, the Aquas drowned CTBC DEA with their swarming defense. They limited their opponents to just eight points to gain an imposing 74-50 lead heading into the final frame.
Kaohsiung then stepped on the pedal in the final frame, scoring 34 points to gain their third straight win.
Yu Huanya had the game of his life for Kaohsiung, dropping 29 points on 7-of-10 shooting from deep.
Ferrakohn Hall got 19 points and seven rebounds, while Mindaugas Kupšas tallied 16 points on 8-of-14 shooting with 19 rebounds.
Up next for Brickman and Kaohsiung are Jordan Heading and Taichung on Sunday.
New Taipei, who fell to 2-2, was led by the 14 points of Liu Minyan. Marlon Johnson notched a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
The trio of Jonah Morrison, Mohammad Al Bachir Gadiaga, and Chanatip Jakrawan were limited in the game. Gadiaga got five points, while Morrison and Jakrawan got four points each.
