Stevens, Wilson move from UST to UE

Good pals Gani Steves and Willie Wilson seem like they had a change of heart.

The two products of Minneapolis North High School will now move from University of Santo Tomas to University of the East.

Multiple sources closely monitoring the situation confirmed the development to Tiebreaker Times.

“UE is just waiting for them to enroll to make it official,” one of Tiebreaker Times’ sources told Tiebreaker Times.

Both Stevens and Wilson only played a total of eight preseason games for the Growling Tigers.

Stevens, who stands at 6-foot-7, averaged 3.7 points and 4.8 rebounds for the Builders Warehouse-backed UST in the PBA D-League. Meanwhile, Wilson, a 6-foot-4 guard, normed 5.5 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in six games played.
