Standhardinger strikes dagger as NorthPort weathers Wells’ 56-point barrage


Christian Standhardinger stuck the dagger right into the heart San Miguel as NorthPort took a 127-119 victory in the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup, Wednesday night at the Cuneta Astrodome.

The Beermen came back from 14 down to tie the game up at 117. But the Batang Pier made a 7-0 run ending in Standhardinger’s jumper to make it 124-119 with 1:01 left to play.

Standhardinger finished with 18 points, seven assists, and five rebounds in the win that hiked their card to 3-4.
