Squires captain Anabo commits to Adamson

Letran High School captain Emman Anabo has committed to enroll at and play for Adamson University.

The 6-foot-1 guard is a 3-and-D specialist. Moreover, he was the captain of the Squires team that won the NCAA Season 98 Juniors Basketball crown.

“Emman can really help us because of his size at the guard position and he is a good rebounder and a knockdown shooter,” said Soaring Falcons head coach Nash Racela.

Anabo averaged 8.33 points and 4.25 rebounds in his senior year for the Squires.

With the addition of Anabo, Adamson now has a bevy of guards.

Peter Rosillo and Mat Edding committed to Adamson earlier this week. The Soaring Falcons also have transferees Eli Ramos and Matthew Montebon.

Holdovers from last season are Jerom Lastimosa, Joem Sabandal, Ray Allen Torres, Joshua Yerro, Jhon Calisay, Flever Dignadice, Matty Erolon, and Ivan Maata.

“They will bring out the best in each other in every practice,” said Racela about the plethora of guards he now has.
