After leading the Far Eastern University to three straight UAAP Final Four appearances, Shaq Delos Santos has parted ways with the Lady Tamaraws.
According to a source within the team, Delos Santos has not been with the team for quite some time. In addition, the source, who requested anonymity, was also perplexed over the reason why Delos Santos and FEU have gone their separate ways.
In four seasons, Delos Santos led the Lady Tamaraws to three UAAP Final Four appearances, coming within a game of the Finals in Season 78. He tallied a 34-29 slate in FEU, 3-4 in the post-season.
No replacement has been formally announced, but FEU have several options in their assistant coaches. They also recently re-hired George Pascua, who won several championships with FEU as a player and coach of the Men’s Volleyball team.
