Sotto momentum halted as NBL postpones Adelaide’s next two games

The momentum of Kai Sotto and Adelaide has been halted because of something beyond their control.

The National Basketball League has announced that it has postponed the next two games of the 36ers due to health and safety protocols.

The 36ers (8th, 4-6) were supposed to face the Brisbane Bullets (7th, 4-6) tomorrow and the Sydney Kings (5th, 5-6) on Sunday.

All in all, Adelaide has had six games postponed due to COVID this season.

This is a dampener for Sotto, most especially, as he is already getting his groove in the league.

The 7-foot-3 Filipino big man has been averaging 8.6 points on 56-percent and 4.4 rebounds so far.

Sotto and Adelaide are coming off a huge 88-83 overtime win against Melbourne last Sunday.
