SMB trades Cabagnot to Terrafirma for Enciso

Another member of San Miguel’s Death Five has been shipped away.

Alex Cabagnot has been traded by the Beermen to the Terrafirma Dyip in exchange for Simon Enciso in a straight-up swap.

The league approved the transaction on Saturday.

This ends Cabagnot’s stay in San Miguel, who he helped steer to nine championships.

With SMB, the Fil-Am cager won a Finals MVP, an All-Star Game MVP in 2016 in one of his seven All-Star citations, once a member of the Mythical First Team, and a former Bogs Adornado Comeback Player of the Year awardee.

The 16-year veteran missed a significant amount of time in the last semi-bubble due to a knee injury. He played for a total of 13 games, and averaged 10.1 points on 41.5-percent shooting, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.6 assists.

On the other hand, Enciso’s stay in Terrafirma only lasted for 46 days.

Enciso was traded by Blackwater to Terrafirma in exchange for Rashawn McCarthy last September 28.

Enciso had per-game averages of 13.7 points, 4.1 assists, and 2.8 rebounds last conference.
