Sleat, UE trio commitments signal fresh start for Olsen’s Perpetual

University of Perpetual Help System DALTA did not have the dream start to its new era under head coach Olsen Racela.

Just a month after the announcement of his hiring, the Altas figured in a mass exodus.

Jun Roque, Mark Omega, Cyrus Nitura, and Carlo Ferreras left the school to transfer to another NCAA member.

Maybe it’s because of the new culture Racela is trying to implement.UAAP86-MBB-Pat-Sleat-6795 Sleat, UE trio commitments signal fresh start for Olsen's Perpetual Basketball NCAA News UPHSD - philippine sports news

Racela though was able to get the commitment of four UAAP student-athletes, headed by one of his trusted wards, Patrick Sleat.

On Monday, three more student-athletes enrolled at Perpetual.

These were none other than former University of the East Red Warriors, JM Tulabut, Allen Maglupay, and Josh Alcantara.

Tulabut is a 6-foot-5 forward while Maglupay and Alcantara are guards.

With the quartet, Racela can now properly rebuild the Altas program.

All four new Altas will begin their new chapters starting on NCAA Season 101.
