SeaOil backs FEU’s PBA D-League campaign

Besides showcasing its new recruits, Far Eastern University will have a new partner backing it up come the 2020 PBA D-League Aspirants’ Cup.

SeaOil will backstop FEU this upcoming conference, which begins on February 13. They will carry the monicker Extreme Racers.

“We are very happy to partner with Seaoil in the upcoming D-League. FEU is grateful for their support in our team, especially as this tournament will be the start of our preparation for the UAAP season,” said team manager Richie Ticzon.

Present at the contract signing between the two parties are SeaOil-FEU head coach Olsen Racela; FEU athletics director Mark Molina; SeaOil’s vice president for corporate and consumer marketing Jose Jaime dela Fuente; and president for lubricants Lawrence Kristoffer Yu.

This will be the second straight year FEU joins the second league in preparation for the UAAP Men’s Basketball Tournament. Last year, the Tamaraws made it to the playoffs of the Aspirants’ Cup before bowing to eventual-champion Cignal-Ateneo.

Set to make their FEU debuts this conference are RJ Abarrientos, Emman Ojoula, and Cholo Anonuevo.
