,After a successful bubble tournament in Carmona, Cavite, the Philippines Football League is doing its part in giving back.
United City’s Stephan Schrock and Maharlika Manila’s Anton Del Rosario put up the PFL Cares initiative which will raise funds for the families affected by Typhoon Ulysses.
The country’s top football players will be auctioning their kits, boots, and gloves.
Some who have already pledged their kits and boots are 2020 Golden Ball winner Schrock, Golden Glove awardee Anthony Pinthus, Golden Boot recipient Bienve Maranon, Maharlika’s Del Rosario, Azkals DT’s Jarvey Gayoso, and Mendiola 1991’s Hamed Hajimahdi.
Bidding opened Thursday evening with Schrock’s jersey earning a starting bid of P1,000, while his shoes are set at P3,000.
The Filipino-German also committed to giving P50,000 to the drive.
The auction will be held on the Philippines Football League’s official Facebook page.
